sun up mix

Every season my best friend Mr. pageOne makes a mix. Every season he puts together an incredible blend of awesomeness and dang. You can learn more about him here. Every mix I ask him to throw together a few words to describe the mix and you can read those words here:
Here's a summery mix for you to tote along on road trips or for simply milling around the house with the windows and doors open. The idea was conceived by Miss Parks outta Tulsa, OK, and is basically meant to be a compilation of music that I might play for a group of hungover morning risers. In order to be eligible for the compilation the music had to satisfy at least one of three categories: 1)it makes me smile, 2)it makes me sing, or 3)it makes me dance. Hopefully, you'll have a similar response. Tracks span a time range from the 1970's to barely released and the scope of style is a also diverse, but musically (in form) related. Anyway, enjoy!
The "sun up" mix file is large, but that's because I try to keep the sound quality high!
I'm not sure that most of your deserve to play this for your earholes, but I am going to let you. When you play it for the first time, wait for a Sunday morning, cook some pancakes or waffles, enjoy exactly 8 ounces of orange juice, take 10 deep breathes, kick your feet up, pick up your favorite book.... And when it is all over - call your best friend and talk about the good ol' days.

Sounds like a perfect way to spend a Sunday morning. May I also suggest how I enjoyed sun up? Spend the day @ the beach doing your thing, ride a quad beachside and have yourself some yummy chips/salsa and guac with fresh lime Margarittas at a certain Soggy Peso Beach Bar, come home on the quad and take a quick outdoor beach shower. Follow up with an afternoon massage and facial, while listening to sun up. Have sweet dreams thinking about good friends and dreaming about the possibility of sharing this with them one day. Thanks Tom!

You win! Your day couldn't sound any better! While I'm quite jealous, I'm stoked that you enjoyed the music in paradise. That's a nice pairing.
